Transformation Story

In 2010, I reached my highest weight ever. I was not active, was constantly coming down with colds and had little self confidence. It was not a good place to be.

My sister is a huge fitness buff who had been telling me for years about Shakeology. I tried it a few times but never got around to ordering it. The final push was seeing my own mother's transformation.

Mom had never ever joined a gym in her life. She just isn't that type of person. When my sister said she actually got mom to start doing some home fitness videos, I kind of laughed. It seemed unreal that a 60 year old woman would pick this stuff up late in life. But she did. She started with Shakeology, started feeling better about her health and hit the ground running. I thought, If mom can do this, why can't I?

I began drinking Shakeology and loved it. As I was slimming down, I started doing P90X. After 6 months of P90X, I moved onto Insanity. I was running 5ks, ice skating in the winter and playing beach volleyball in the summer. It was fantastic.

Within 1 year, I went from 163 lbs to 135 lbs and dropped 5 dress sizes. The first day I discovered I could do pull ups (for real) and standard push ups (not any of that girly stuff), I was floored. I was able to do things I never thought possible. What does that transformation look like?
